Our Story
Folashade.org was born from a passion to see career professionals thrive and success in their respective fields
This didn’t start as a brand. It started as a journey.
A journey of figuring things out, navigating career decisions, making mistakes, taking risks, and learning what it really means to grow, both professionally and financially.
My career hasn’t followed a straight line. I started out in engineering, moved into consulting, explored branding and market research, and eventually found my place in finance. Along the way, I worked across different countries, adapted to new environments, and constantly had to reinvent myself.
But even before all of that, I got an early introduction to the professional world. I started my first role at 16 as an intern in a corporate organisation, and from that point on, I’ve been building experience, learning how workplaces really function, understanding expectations, and navigating both the opportunities and challenges that come with it. Many of those lessons aren’t taught in school, but they shape how you grow.
And through all of this, one thing became clear:
Building a meaningful career and building wealth are deeply connected, but no one really teaches you how to do both.

A lot of what I know today didn’t come from a single degree or one perfect job. It came from experience from navigating uncertainty, learning how to position myself, understanding the value of skills, and being intentional about the opportunities I pursued.I also realised something else: This journey can feel isolating.
There’s a lot of noise about success, money, and career growth, but not enough honest conversations about what it actually takes, the trial and error, the strategy behind decisions, and the mindset shifts required to move forward.
That’s why this folashade.org exists.
It’s a space for practical, real-life insights on how to grow in your career, make smarter decisions, and build wealth over time, whether you’re just starting out, switching paths, or trying to level up where you are.
